Visa is a required travel document that allows you to enter Spain. This can be requested at the Consulate of Spain and will be issued based on the reason that justifies the trip to Spain and abroad enabled to remain in Spain, in the situation for which it was issued. There are cases in which the visa requirement is not enforced. 
How many types of visas are there?

Depending on the purpose of entry into Spain, the transit visas may be, stay, residence, work and residence and student.

  1. Transit Visa allows driving on the international transit area of an airport or Spanish through Spanish territory. 
  2. Stay visa allows a continuous visit or successive visits for a period or periods whose sum total period not exceeding three months within six months from the date of first entry. 
  3. Courtesy Visa - it may be issued to diplomatic agents, consular officials, representatives of permanent missions, delegates and officials in international or intergovernmental organizations based in Spain. 
  4. Residence visa - to reside in Spain without undertaking work or professional activity. 
  5. Working Visa And Residence - which allows the holder to work or professional activity, whether employees or self and to live. 
  6. Student visa - which allows you to stay in Spain for conducting courses, studies, research or training.
